We run two before and after school clubs situated in St Johns Worcester- at Oldbury Park Primary School and Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Primary School.
We also have a walking bus from Pitmaston Primary School to Our Lady Queen of Peace for the after-school club.
Breakfast Club : A healthy start to the day
We are open from 7:30am and offer a selection of healthy cereals and toast to choose from, which the children self-serve to promote their independence. Breakfast is on offer for all children attending.
On arrival you will be welcomed by a member of highly qualified staff who will sign your child in. The children are dropped off in their classrooms for when school starts (at Oldbury Park) and into the playground at Our Lady’s. Staff can pass on messages from parents to the teachers at the school.
After school club: Full of fun and stimulating activities
At the After School Club, children will be collected from their classroom (Oldbury Park) or the playground (Our Lady’s). We also operate a walking bus from Pitmaston to Our Lady’s. We offer them a range of fresh fruit or salad sticks and a variety of fingers food such as crackers, bagels, cheese toasties and baked beans on toast. Water is always available ready for when the children arrive to either fill up their drink bottles or a cup of water which the children can help themselves to throughout the session.
We provide all children with a variety of fun and stimulating activities and liaise with the school to support the current themes that link in with children’s own interests. Outside play areas are used as often as possible to promote activity and provide variety. Some of the activities that are offered are adult-led, however, most are child-led as the children have been at school all day and this is their time to play, relax and choose what they would like to do. We upload photos of what the children have been doing at every after-school club on the Tapestry app.
As we are a flexible club, we understand that sometimes you will require an extra session. Please let our club leaders know and they will always try to accommodate you as best as possible.
We do ask that you let us know by email, phone call or by text if your child or children are not attending as we need to know which children, we are picking up for safeguarding reasons.
Victoria House provides an out of school club for children aged 4-11.
Holiday Club : A range of exciting activities and outingsWe offer the children a variety of exciting activities during the days with us including a wide range of sports, local outings in the community and cooking activities. There are also plenty of arts and crafts activities, which all the children enjoy and can create things to take home.
Please can we ask that all children attending our holiday club bring a packed lunch. For tea we offer a snack such as biscuits or rice cake with fresh fruit and milk.
We are open from 8am-6pm and run throughout most of the school holidays other than the week between Christmas and New Year.
